MDes Animation Design at INSD Ahmedabad is a 2-year UGC-recognised postgraduate programme combining advanced animation craft with research and creative leadership. Students develop deep capability in 3D character animation, advanced rigging, VFX compositing, motion graphics, production pipelines, and animation research methods. The programme suits graduates planning careers in senior animation roles, VFX research and supervision, animation teaching, or animation studio founding. Curriculum includes Maya, Blender, After Effects, Nuke, ZBrush and Substance Painter at industry-production standards. Industry briefs sourced from working animation studios and VFX houses.
