Fashion stylists curate looks from existing garments — they work with what brands and designers make, building visually coherent outfits and stories. Designers operate upstream (garment creation); stylists operate downstream (look creation). Both careers can intersect: many designers also style their own campaigns, and stylists often consult on brand direction. INSD offers paths into both.
